I was listening to music on YouTube in Firefox, then tried connecting my bluetooth speaker (it hadn't been connected to the PC before). 
When I tried to switch playback to the bluetooth speaker in the right-top-corner menu, the Gnome shell crashed and I had to log in again.

I connected a bluetooth headset. Went to the sound configuration in gnome-control-center.
For some reason only the handsfree output device of the headset was registered.
Normally, it also registers a headset output device, which has better audio (A2DP).
For lack of better, I tried to switch output device to the handsfree, which killed the gnome-control-center.

Afterwards, I also tried to switch to the handsfree output device using the gnome panel widget (this error report is apparently for gnome-shell).
