Description Mattia Verga 2023-08-06 08:13:48 UTC
Hi @dtardon,
for updating LibreOffice to 7.6 in Rawhide/F39 (https://fedoraproject.org/w/index.php?title=Changes/LibreOffice_7.6) it is needed to upgrade mdds, libixion, liborcus and libetonyek to newer versions.

We set up a COPR repo and updated those libs fine there: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/mattia/Libreoffice7.6testing/builds/

We're still having some test failures which prevent us to successfully build LO 7.6, but as soon as we manage to fix them we'd like to set up a side tag and update/rebuild everything (hopefully before F39 branch, otherwise we want to backport 7.6 into F39 after branching).

As you're the maintainer of all those libs, we'd like to know:
- if it's ok for you
- if you want to update the libs yourself after we create the side tag, or if you want us to do so (I'm Proven Packager, so can do)
- if you're willing to add commit access to libreoffice-sig to those libs, so it is easier for us to maintain them (AFAIK, the only consumer is LO)

Reproducible: Always

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 39 development cycle.
