Description of problem:

The body message does not show Japanese correctly.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):


How reproducible:

When opening the mail written in Japanese.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Write a mail using Thunderbird with UTF-8.
2. Open it with Squirrelmail.
3. The body message does not show Japanese correctly.
4. Change the font to UTF-8 (default euc-jp)
5. Still it does not show Japanese correctly.
  
Actual results:

The boddy message does not show Japanese correctly.

Expected results:

The body message should show Japanese correctly when opening the mail.

Additional info:

The subject shows fine with no problem.

This is the screen after the font was changed to utf-8 from View.
It shows worse...

Could you enable message_details plugin, download rfc822 message source and
attach it to your bug report.

I am not familiar with RedHat bug reporting rules. Could you provide more
information about your setup? I don't see information about used SquirrelMail
and PHP versions.

I'm sorry for not addressing the issue in RHEL-4. As squirrelmail
is not scheduled for update in RHEL-4.9, I'm closing that bugzilla WONTFIX. If
you are still experiencing the issue with RHEL-5, feel free to reopen it
against RHEL-5.
