Description Direct Docs Feedback 2023-08-12 21:47:19 UTC
There's no need to use qemu-img first to create the volume as yo ucan do this with virt-install directly (also "--os-type" is deprecated and has no use.)
virt-install \
  --virt-type kvm \
  --name rhel86-cloud-image \
  --ram 2048 \
  --vcpus 2 \
  --disk rhel88.qcow2,format=qcow2,size=10 \
  --location rhel-8.6-x86_64-boot.iso \
  --network=bridge:virbr0 \
  --graphics vnc,listen=127.0.0.1 \
  --noautoconsole \
  --os-variant rhel8.6 \
