Just booted up and into LightDM. Mouse cursor was frozen as was keyboard. The light was blinking in the password window but I could not access it in any way. Pressing ESC and CTRL-ALT-DEL did nothing. Rebooted by holding down power button for five seconds and everything booted up fine. Next test: I switched back to GDM then enabled automatic boot to desktop to see whether bypassing the Display Manager would solve the problem. It did not. ON the first reboot, the Desktop appeared as expected (no login screen) but the cursor and keyboard were completely frozen. |
