Description Léo Gillot-Lamure 2023-08-15 10:05:50 UTC
The package kubernetes-node-1.26.7-1.fc38 still contains KUBE_LOGTOSTDERR="--logtostderr=true" in /etc/kubernetes/config, but Kubelet 1.26 doesn’t support this option anymore.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dnf install kubernetes-node
2. systemctl start kubelet
3. journalctl -u kubelet
Actual Results:
E0815 09:46:22.102397 1185 run.go:74] "command failed" err="failed to parse kubelet flag: unknown flag: --logtostderr"

then stops with exit code 1.

Expected Results:
Kubelet starts and stays up.
