Description Adam Williamson 2023-08-21 19:51:55 UTC
This is a tracking bug for Change: LLVM 17
For more details, see: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/LLVM-17

Update all llvm sub-projects in Fedora Linux to version 17.

Comment 1 Adam Williamson 2023-08-21 21:54:32 UTC
This does not appear to be done. There has only been one official llvm 17 build attempted, for Rawhide (not F39), and it failed: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2274862

Per the schedule in the Change page, as Beta freeze starts in about 16 hours, there should be an llvm 17 update for F39 by now, but there is not. The rc1/rc2 builds in side tags that are mentioned in the schedule don't seem to have happened. This Change is now at-risk for F39 as it's clearly behind schedule. Leaving as ASSIGNED.

Comment 2 Adam Williamson 2023-09-21 18:51:15 UTC
This is now done. The current stable LLVM in F39 is 17.0.0 rc3, with bc packages for 16 - https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-de5276064a - and RC4 is in testing queued for stable - https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2023-86ba35c058 . Marking as ON_QA.

F39 was released on November 7th, so I am closing this tracker. If this Change was not completed, please notify me ASAP.
