Description Federico Grau 2000-12-15 18:18:09 UTC
I have extensively looked over the web (freshmeat, google, redhat.com) and
can find very little information on the up2date package. This is an
excellent package, especially for system administrators of many redhat
linux boxes, in that it greatly eases the burden of keeping security
vulnurabilities patched.

I see redhat provides priority service and regular free service at
ftp.redhat.com, however I would like set up a local mirror of the up2date
server on my local lan... 1) to reduce bandwidth usage and 2) to have more
control.

Nowhere can I find information information on the server (short of reverse
engineering what the client is doing) or more importantly the source for
it. Is this source available someplace, or can you please make it
available.

thanks,
donfede
