Description of problem:

When Audacity is in french, I can see "unicode blocks" (you see, squares with
hexadecimal) instead of accents like "éàê" etc.

audacity-1.3.2-2.fc6 (1.3.2-beta unicode)


Additional info:
No problems with accents in Spanish, Slovenian, Portuguese...

I don't think I saw this problem in 1.2.6 stable.
