Description Kevin Fenzi 2023-09-11 18:40:06 UTC
I'm working on getting newest sigul working with rhel9, and (as of now at least) it needs python-nss.

python-nss builds fine in epel9, but fails tests (due to some python-cryptography differences I think).

Would you be willing to branch/build it in epel9? Or would you prefer not to?

Reproducible: Always

Sure, sorry for the delay on this. Starting the process: https://pagure.io/releng/fedora-scm-requests/issue/56654

All set: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=106893265

The only change I needed to make for EPEL was that I got too fancy with type annotations for what python 3.9 can handle. I just deleted the offending type alias and the tests run fine.

Seems that build never got submitted as an update and got GC'ed. ;(

I'm ready to push sigul finally... if you like I can just bump and rebuild python-nss and add it in the same update with sigul?
Or did you want to build it and push a seperate update?

Comment 4 David Shea 2024-02-28 20:02:34 UTC
Oh whoops, been a while since I worked with epel and I forgot that it needs updates.

If you want to bump and rebuild that's fine with me.

Can do.
