Description
Upstream Release Monitoring
2023-09-16 19:05:19 UTC
Note that 2.2.2 is released upstream and will fix the bug I linked. I believe Fedora uses pypi as source and for release-monitoring.org. How hard would it be to get everything directly from gitlab?
The author says:
> See https://forum.openpaper.work/t/paperwork-2-2-1/330#whats-new-1 : "IMPORTANT: Due to packaging difficulties, Pypi packages won’t be updated anymore. I’m assuming that nobody ever used them anyway. If you’re using them, please reach out."
Let me know in case you want help with this transition / package maintenance.
That there are not any individual sdists is annoying, but it's not an insurmountable problem. I think I managed to fix the sdists though, so I'm hoping that upstream can implement that when they see it.
