Description Dave Love 2023-09-20 09:00:06 UTC
Description of problem:

The recent version update in EPEL9 goes against the incompatible updates policy and has at least broken installation of the Internet2 perfSONAR monitoring system packages.

Could you remove the shared library glob, per the packaging guidelines, to avoid it happening again inadvertently. (The intrinsic build doesn't obey the soname ABI convention and abidiff indicates real ABI incompatibility between between 4.4 and 4.5.)

Thanks.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.5

Sorry for that.

Shared library glob is fixed
