Description Barry Scott 2023-11-22 16:15:38 UTC
This is what I see from dnf when I upgrade to the 2.1.4 version.

Upgrading:
 duplicity x86_64 2.1.4-1.fc39 updates 834 k
Installing dependencies:
 python3-setuptools_scm noarch 7.1.0-7.fc39 fedora 107

setuptools is only for building (BuildRequires) not runtime (Required)?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start from duplicity 1.2.3
2.dnf update duplicity
Actual Results:
Upgrading:
 duplicity x86_64 2.1.4-1.fc39 updates 834 k
Installing dependencies:

Expected Results:
Upgrading:

Well that's just silly. I've sent a patch upstream and an update is coming.
