Description Robert Scheck 2023-12-07 08:16:14 UTC
Description of problem:
Please rebase libssh2 in EPEL 9 to 1.11.0, because this version adds e.g. Ed25519, ETM-MAC and AES-GCM support, which are required to enable e.g. Guacamole, using libssh2, to access modern and/or hardened Linux systems via SSH, such as RHEL 9.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
libssh2-1.10.0-1.el9
libssh2-1.11.0-1.fc39

Actual results:
libssh2-1.10.0-1.el9

Expected results:
libssh2-1.11.0-1.el9 or better ;-)

Additional info:
A rebuild of libssh2-1.11.0-1.fc39 for EPEL 9 seems to work, there has been also no soname version bump.
