This is a tracking bug for Change: Changes/Linker Error On Security Issues

Extend the %{hardened_build} feature of the redhat-rpm-config package so that the linker will generate an error message and fail if it is asked to create an executable binary that contains one or more known security issues.  These issues are:

Hi Nick,

As we are passed the Testable deadline for F40 Changes, I am doing a routine check in on all F40 changes as we approach the 100% deadline to make sure they are on track or not. Have you any updates on how this change is progressing?

Hi Aoife,

Ah right - I forgot to update this ticket.  Sorry.

Essentially the change is in (F40 and rawhide), and so far no problems have been reported.

I do not want to jinx things, but it looks like all is well and the ticket can probably be closed.

if it's considered 100% complete, the correct status is ON_QA.

F40 was released on 2024-04-23, so I am closing this tracker. If this Change was not completed, please notify me ASAP.
