they don't contain any characters that can't be represented by iso8859 afaics, so why is this a problem ? The default encoding in Fedora is UTF-8, so when one views one of the non UTF-8 encoded files with less, the non ascii characters are not displayed correctly. Feel free to send a series of patches to linux-kernel.org |
