Description Florian Weimer 2023-12-19 13:21:53 UTC
As discussed upstream <https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/poke-devel/2023-12/msg00000.html>, the 4.0 release will bring an updated gnulib. Hopefully this addresses all remaining GCC 14 compatibility issues in configure scripts.

Reproducible: Always

Alpha release 3.90.2 is available in rawhide now. I think it's enough to close this BZ, can you confirm Florian?

Comment 2 Florian Weimer 2024-02-12 12:27:25 UTC
I found a new issue regarding pthread_spin_init and pthread_mutex_timedlock:

<https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/poke-devel/2024-02/msg00047.html>

It's already been fixed in gnulib <https://git.savannah.gnu.org/gitweb/?p=gnulib.git;a=commitdiff;h=f5b70b135a355d7f957ddd8119a802f3d3bb4958>, so I expect the final poke release will get it from there.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora Linux 40 development cycle.
Changing version to 40.

Comment 4 Aoife Moloney 2025-04-25 10:12:53 UTC
This message is a reminder that Fedora Linux 40 is nearing its end of life.
Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora Linux 40 on 2025-05-13.
It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer
maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a
'version' of '40'.

Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you
plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, change the 'version'
to a later Fedora Linux version. Note that the version field may be hidden.
Click the "Show advanced fields" button if you do not see it.

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not
able to fix it before Fedora Linux 40 is end of life. If you would still like
to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version
of Fedora Linux, you are encouraged to change the 'version' to a later version
prior to this bug being closed.

Comment 5 Mikel Olasagasti Uranga 2025-04-25 16:15:27 UTC
Builds of Poke 4.3 are working fine, I think it's safe to close this BZ.
