Description nilskemail 2024-01-12 23:41:52 UTC
The directory is defined for the textfile collector but when using a /usr/-only* Fedora image this directory does not exist. As a result there are many warnings. Shipping a tmpfile.d definition would cause this directory to be created at boot.

*This is useful for robust, and stateless systems where everything but /usr/ (and /etc/ depending on configuration) is volatile and lost on each reboot.

Reproducible: Always

Is this using Silverblue?

Can you test installing this release? https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=111693574

> Is this using Silverblue?

No, this is using a custom immutable spin/flavor for our digital signage devices (made using mkosi).

> Can you test installing this release?

That should do the trick, yes
