Description of problem:

There has been a PR open to upgrade lcov on EPEL9 to v2.0:
https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/lcov/pull-request/3

Since it's upgrading to a new major version, I am wondering if there are any breaking changes so that it can't be upgraded on EPEL9. Otherwise it would be great to upgrade and merge the PR.
