Root account on IPA server does not require admin credentials to manipulate the environment. If root privileges were obtained somehow, the game is over. Thus, administrators should protect their environments seriously. However, once you are root, it does not matter whether you have admin credentials or not. Root can modify *anything*, this has nothing to do with FreeIPA. |
