Description Tim Hempstead 2024-02-16 10:00:36 UTC
Description of problem:

When trying to make use of libspatialite during compile we get the following

/usr/libspatialite.so.7: undefined symbol: xmlNanoHTTPCleanup, version LIBXML2_2.4.30

The version of libxml2 provided in EL8 is 2.9.7 so it would appear the libspatialite library needs to be recompiled against newer libxml2?

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Libxml2 2.9.7-18.el8_9
Libspatialite 5.0.0-1.el8

Expected results:
Expect to be able to use the library with our an error
