Description Rohit Keshri 2024-02-27 11:37:54 UTC
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

f2fs: fix to avoid potential deadlock

Using f2fs_trylock_op() in f2fs_write_compressed_pages() to avoid potential
deadlock like we did in f2fs_write_single_data_page().

Comment 1 Rohit Keshri 2024-02-27 11:39:43 UTC
Created kernel tracking bugs for this issue:

Affects: fedora-all [bug 2266268]

Comment 4 Justin M. Forbes 2024-02-27 19:10:52 UTC
This was fixed for Fedora with the 5.6.7 stable kernel updates.

Comment 6 Alex 2024-06-09 13:07:20 UTC
The result of automatic check (that is developed by Alexander Larkin) for this CVE-2020-36775 is: SKIP	No affected files built, so skip this CVE	NO -	-	unknown (where first YES/NO value means if related sources built).
