Doc Text:
Before this update, the `python3-dns` package version 2.x introduced an incompatibility with the RHOSP DNS service (designate). This incompatibility caused some zone transfers that involved a Transaction Signature (TSIG) key to fail, resulting in the log message: `AttributeError: 'TsigKeyring' object has no attribute 'name'`. + In RHOSP 17.1.4, this issue has been resolved. Zone transfers that involve TSIG keys now work correctly.

Description yatanaka 2024-02-29 01:59:32 UTC
Description of problem:

My customer said that the following bug occurs in RHOSP 17.1.

- Upstream Bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/designate/+bug/1982252
- Patch for Bug : https://review.opendev.org/c/openstack/designate/+/886621
Note: This bug has been fixed in Yoga and later

Currently, my customer manually makes the same patch into their environment and avoids the issue.

Would you be able to
- backport the fix for this bug to RHOSP 17.1?
- provide a hotfix package for this bug to the customer?
