The xvfb-run script installed with the xorg-x11-server-Xvfb package uses the getopt command which is part of the util-linux package. However the util-linux is not installed when xorg-x11-server-Xvfb is installed.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
podman pull docker.io/fedora/fedora:latest
podman run --rm -it docker.io/fedora/fedora:latest

  then inside container:

dnf install -y xorg-x11-server-Xvfb
xvfb-run echo 'hello'

Actual Results:  
The command

  xvfb-run echo 'hello'

errors with the following output:

/usr/bin/xvfb-run: line 105: getopt: command not found

Expected Results:  
The command

  xvfb-run echo 'hello'

should output with:

hello

Easy workaround: install the util-linux package. However, this might not be common knowledge.

Thanks a lot for reporting this issue. It is fixed in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/xorg-x11-server/c/43f6ceeda4e140feff387cb509965a6c32658485?branch=rawhide and the fix should be available on Fedora Rawhide soon.
