A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel, which affects the gaudi component and is caused by a reference attempt cb->id, which may have been previously freed during a call to the hl_cb_put() function.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

habanalabs/gaudi: Fix a potential use after free in gaudi_memset_device_memory

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2021-47081 to this issue.

This was fixed for Fedora with the 5.12.7 stable kernel updates.
