In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

fs/proc/task_mmu: move mmu notification mechanism inside mm lock

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2024-26617 to this issue.

This was fixed for Fedora with the 6.7.3 stable kernel updates.
