Description Adam Ruzicka 2024-03-19 13:13:42 UTC
When a REX job runs longer than 10 minutes, it fails with "Proxy task gone missing from the smart proxy"

Steps to reproduce
1) Run "sleep $((12 * 60))"

Actual results:
The job dies with "Proxy task gone missing from the smart proxy" after 10 minutes

Expected results:
The job runs for 12 minutes and eventually finishes successfully

Comment 1 Adam Ruzicka 2024-03-19 13:39:30 UTC
From what I've seen on my environment, this seems to affect only jobs running using the Script provider (be it using push or pull), ansible jobs seems to be unaffected. Waiting for confirmation from @pondrejk that he observes the same thing.

Comment 3 Peter Ondrejka 2024-03-19 13:59:28 UTC
Hello, I confirm that ansible job works as expected in this scenario on 6.15

Comment 5 Peter Ondrejka 2024-03-20 13:05:07 UTC
Verified on Satellite 6.15 snap 11, long running job no longer fails in the described scenario
