Description barsnick 2024-04-08 08:28:28 UTC
tig can be built with readline support. This enables commend history, wich is extremely useful for e.g. repeating the same search in a different view, or in a subsequent call execution of the tool.

Please build with readline support.

(Probably just add BR: readline-devel and call `%configure --with-readline`.)

Thanks!

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run tig on a git repo
2. Press / to search for text
3. Press cursor-up to select previous terms
Actual Results:
No previous terms

Expected Results:
Previous search terms appear in command

Comment 1 Jason Tibbitts 2024-04-08 19:21:33 UTC
Sure, seems simple enough.
