The beta includes modulare IDE. If you have the ide-cdrom module loaded (try "modprobe ide-probe-mod" and "modprobe ide-cd"), this should work. The installer in the development tree loads the IDE modules, and newer mkinitrd's will do the same if the module is loaded when the initrd is created, so this should be fixed. |
