storageclaim controller continuously logs error "unsupported storage type: " during reconciles and fails to query the type of the storageclaim.

This created storageclaim to not reconcile properly failing to create storage/volumesnapshot classes.

Found in 4.16.0-84. QA verification only needs regression.

Storageclaims Ready and storageclasses are created.
