GIMP registry page is no longer found at upstream: http://registry.gimp.org/node/4235

searching around looking for this project, I have found it maintained by the original author at this location: https://github.com/mrossini-ethz/gimp-wavelet-denoise

This project is active with several bugfixes resolved and merged and runs for latest GIMP 2.10

This project is currently at release v0.4 (Please NOTE: GIMP 3.0 requires a different structure/format). The obsoleted registry version was at 0.3.1

This project builds and runs on i586(32bit), and x86(64bit).
I have not tried on CPUs since I lack other platforms.
