Doc Text:
A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's ICE network driver. This issue occurs when updating Traffic Classes (TCs) beyond the number of allocated queues. If more TCs are defined than available queues, this mismatch causes the system to leave behind an invalid configuration, which can lead to crashes due to an invalid pointer access. This vulnerability is primarily triggered when a configuration update via LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol) attempts to define more TCs than there are available transmit or receive queues. The crash stems from a failure in handling this mismatch properly, which results in a general protection fault and potential system crashes.
