Doc Text:
A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's AMD link_edp_panel_control.c driver in the edp_set_replay_allow_active() function, where a NULL pointer dereference can occur due to a lack of proper checks. This issue can happen when the function fails to check whether the replay structure is NULL before attempting to access the function replay->funcs->replay_set_power_opt(), and can lead to memory corruption or system instability.

The result of automatic check (that is developed by Alexander Larkin) for this CVE-2024-27040 is: SKIP	No affected files built, so skip this CVE	NO -	-	unknown (where first YES/NO value means if related sources built).
