Uh, I don't think the CVE affects this package at all? The CVE is in Amazon Redshift, but the redshift package in Fedora is a tool to automatically adjust the display temperature to reduce eye strain, it has nothing to do with the Amazon stuff.

If you feel this CVE doesn't apply to your package, then you should close it with "not a bug".
Having an explanation, as you put above, makes it even better.
