Description Rory Renton 2007-02-10 11:56:23 UTC
Description of problem: when I drag an icon from the top toolbar to the tool bar again, about half the time it gets unlinked or broken and turns into a question mark. (moving it works fine) the intresting part I'mn pretty sure occured when I moved the "?" icon for evolution mail onto the desktop, it says "redhat-evolution-mail.desktop" and if I move the mouse over it it disapears until next boot. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: easy to make it turn to a "?" havent been able to make another icon on desktop though. Steps to Reproduce: 1.drag an item from top toolbar back to it again, 50% of the time it will turn into a "?" icon. 2.then drag to desktop. 3. Actual results: "?" icon on toolbar, and disapearing icon on desktop (ON MOUSE OVER) Expected results: icon to move, and no weird disapearing icon. Additional info:

have managed to get ride of the icon, by a bodge, as I cant select only that icon without it disapearing till next reboot, I have created something else, and selected them both, then deleted them both, this has worked. I suspect that the icon appears after system restart.

Hi, We no longer support Fedora Core 6 and I am currently trying to get my open bug count down to a more manageable state. I'm going to close this bug as WONTFIX. If this issue is still a concern for you, would you mind trying to reproduce on a supported version of Fedora and reopening? (this is a mass message)
