Doc Text:
A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's MediaTek vdec_hevc_req_multi_if.c driver in the vdec_hevc_slice_init() function, where a lack of proper checking can lead to a use-after-free scenario. This issue occurs when the stateless HEVC decoder saves the instance pointer in the context without checking whether the pointer was freed in case of a failure in the function vpu_dec_deinit(), possibly leading to memory corruption or causing system instability.

The result of automatic check (that is developed by Alexander Larkin) for this CVE-2024-35921 is: SKIP	No affected files built, so skip this CVE	NO -	-	unknown (where first YES/NO value means if related sources built).
