A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's networking component, where the skb_tunnel_info() function can return unvalidated data. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

net: validate lwtstate-&gt;data before returning from skb_tunnel_info()

The Linux kernel CVE team has assigned CVE-2021-47309 to this issue.
