Description
Upstream Release Monitoring
2024-05-24 01:09:36 UTC
Waiting for final version. Note: this is blocking netmiko since it depends on cffi 1.17 because of Python 3.13 compatibility. Python 3.13 compatibility has been added as a patch in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-cffi/c/97f5910f3a7e91350a55d9c1f906d712dd9c205a?branch=rawhide -- is there anything else you need? I simply don't know, https://github.com/ktbyers/netmiko/pull/3444/commits/637c2a76607f53581ce9741991bb442da826867e is not rich on details. I can give it a try (should be in 1.16.0-5, right?) and hope for better. You don't need the changes from https://github.com/ktbyers/netmiko/pull/3444/commits/637c2a76607f53581ce9741991bb442da826867e But anyway, if your upstream already pins to >= 1.17.0rc1 it might be easier to update the package. FEDORA-2024-3087d23008 (python-cffi-1.17.0~rc1-1.fc41) has been submitted as an update to Fedora 41. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-3087d23008 FEDORA-2024-3087d23008 (python-cffi-1.17.0~rc1-1.fc41) has been pushed to the Fedora 41 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. |
