Description Jens Petersen 2024-05-31 07:03:45 UTC
I noticed that sil-nuoso-fonts is listed as default for Yiddish (yi) language,
but it is actually Chinese Yi (Nuoso) language script font,
which I believe has language code ii.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuosu_language

I think we should add a separate langpack for it (ie langpacks-ii)
to cover it, please

Reproducible: Always

Comment 1 Jens Petersen 2024-05-31 07:06:53 UTC
Also perhaps google-noto-sans-yi-vf-fonts might be a better/alternative default, or good to include there anyway.

Comment 2 Jens Petersen 2024-06-07 08:17:41 UTC
Addressed in https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/langpacks/pull-request/38

Comment 3 Akira TAGOH 2024-07-26 08:48:24 UTC
just for the record, google-noto-sans-yi(-vf)-fonts is also for Yi scripts (Nuosu language). it isn't for Yiddish.

Comment 4 Jens Petersen 2024-07-26 09:27:49 UTC
Yea, I was thinking to add them under langpacks-ii.
