The security issue only affects the Fedora 39 packaging of SingularityCE 3.11. I will aim to provide a release that updates the containers/image dependency for this F39 package in the near future.

4.x versions of SingularityCE do not use containers/image for OCI image retrieval / handling. These 4.x versions only import containers/image to access structs in order to provide compatibility functions for the newer code that uses google/go-containerregistry.
