Description Aoife Moloney 2024-06-21 11:50:50 UTC
This is a tracking bug for Change: Node.js 22.x by default
For more details, see: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Nodejs22

The latest release of Node.js to carry a 30-month lifecycle is the 22.x series. As with 20.x, 18.x 16.x, 14.x, 12.x, 10.x and 8.x before it, Fedora 41 will carry 22.x as the default Node.js interpreter for the system. The 20.x, and 18.x interpreters will remain available as parallel-installable options.

Hi @sgallagh can you provide a status update for this change please? Its required to be testable currently and 100% code complete before we hit Beta freeze next Tuesday 27th August. Please indicate whether this change is on track for F41 development or needs to be re-targeted to F42. Thanks!

This has been live in Fedora 41 since May. Sorry, I forgot to update this ticket.
