Please make sure the package builds successfully at least for Fedora Rawhide.

- If the build failed for unrelated reasons (e.g. temporary network
  unavailability), please ignore it.
- If the build failed because of missing BuildRequires, please make sure they
are listed in the "Depends On" field

It looks like this crate was either 1) published from an OS without symbolic link support or 2) actually has "../LICENSE.md" as the only contents of the "LICENSE.md" file.

Great catch! This also affects the already-reviewed rust-onefetch-ascii and rust-onefetch-image crates. I’ll patch in the correct license file as an additional Source in all three crates and follow up here. I also reported the problem upstream in https://github.com/o2sh/onefetch/issues/1363.

No, hold on, still broken. I missed a step.

Thanks for the update!

/me goes to check if I did these reviews ... oh, good, I didn't :)

I'll re-run the review ...

Comment 11 Fabio Valentini 2024-07-11 09:16:43 UTC
Package was generated with rust2rpm, simplifying the review.

✅ package contains only permissible content
✅ package builds and installs without errors on rawhide
✅ test suite is run and all unit tests pass (some tests justifiably skipped)
✅ latest version of the crate is packaged
✅ license matches upstream specification and is acceptable for Fedora
✅ license file is included with %license in %files (manually included correct license file from upstream GitHub repo)
✅ package complies with Rust Packaging Guidelines

Package APPROVED.

===

Recommended post-import rust-sig tasks:

- set up package on release-monitoring.org:
  project: $crate
  homepage: https://crates.io/crates/$crate
  backend: crates.io
  version scheme: semantic
  version filter: alpha;beta;rc;pre
  distro: Fedora
  Package: rust-$crate

- add @rust-sig with "commit" access as package co-maintainer
  (should happen automatically)

- set bugzilla assignee overrides to @rust-sig (optional)

- track package in koschei for all built branches
(should happen automatically once rust-sig is co-maintainer)

Thank you for the review, and for catching the license-file issue!
