A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's swiotlb component, where an information leak occurs during DMA_FROM_DEVICE operations. This issue arises when a TEST UNIT READY command is issued, causing a bounce buffer to retain data from previous I/O operations instead of remaining zeroed. Consequently, when the buffer is copied back to user space, it may contain unintended data, leading to potential security implications.
