A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel's s390 crypto driver where upon some operation failure involving clear-keys, the sensitive key information stored in memory is not consistently/properly wiped. This could lead to sensitive information potentially being disclosed by accessing the corresponding memory.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

s390/pkey: Wipe copies of clear-key structures on failure

Wipe all sensitive data from stack for all IOCTLs, which convert a
clear-key into a protected- or secure-key.
