Description Ankur Sinha (FranciscoD) 2024-08-17 11:57:43 UTC
3.10.3 is available: https://pypi.org/project/aiohttp/3.10.3/

I did a quick build and it looks like it needs a few more deps though:

```
Package "gcc-14.1.1-7.fc41.x86_64" is already installed.
Package "llhttp-devel-9.2.1-2.fc41.x86_64" is already installed.
Package "pyproject-rpm-macros-1.14.0-1.fc41.noarch" is already installed.
Package "python3-devel-3.13.0~rc1-2.fc41.x86_64" is already installed.
No match for argument: python3dist(aiodns) >= 3.2
No match for argument: python3dist(aiohappyeyeballs) >= 2.3
Package "python3-packaging-24.1-2.fc41.noarch" is already installed.
You can try to add to command line:
  --skip-unavailable to skip unavailable packages
```

Reproducible: Always

Thanks. It looks like the release of a 4.0.0 alpha version caused release monitoring to ignore the 3.10.0 series. I added a version filter on https://release-monitoring.org/project/6713/, which should help in the future.

Comment 2 Ben Beasley 2024-08-17 13:06:29 UTC
As noted in https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/blob/v3.10.3/CHANGES.rst, there are some breaking changes in 3.10.0, so this will be for F42/Rawhide and – if we are fast enough and it is compatible enough – for F41/Branched, but not for F40, F39, or EPEL9.

(We’ve had to ask for incompatible upgrades of this package in the past due to significant security fixes, but I don’t see anything like that in the changelogs.)
