Description Paul Howarth 2024-08-22 13:27:32 UTC
Could you please branch and build perl-HTML-Tree for EPEL 10 ?

If you like you could add me (FAS: pghmcfc) as a committer to the package and I'll do it myself.

Note: bug raised against Fedora Rawhide as there are no current EPEL branches of this package.

I see that a bootstrap build cycle will be needed due to circular dependencies between perl-HTML-Tree and perl-HTML-Format.

Added you. Go forth and do what you think is correct.

Thanks.

OK, bootstrap build is done (https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2024-fb68d1b0fe).

I did a bit of a clean-up on the spec, including adding run-time recommends for HTML::FormatText and LWP::UserAgent, which is in line with what upstream's metadata indicates.

Now waiting for movement on perl-HTML-Format; when that's done, a post-bootstrap build (just removing the perl_bootstrap define) will complete the process.

I could merge these changes into the rawhide branch to maintain fast-forward-ability between the branches if you like.
