Description Kaleb KEITHLEY 2024-08-22 18:59:08 UTC
Please branch and build python-pytzdata in epel10.

If you do not wish to maintain python-pytzdata in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS: --sig);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/python-pytzdata/adduser

Comment 1 Michael J Gruber 2024-08-22 19:52:12 UTC
Have you checked dependencies?

No matching package to install: 'python3dist(poetry) >= 1'

https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=122320925

Also, I don't think '--sig' is a valid FAS name, is it?

Comment 2 Michael J Gruber 2024-08-22 20:38:46 UTC
So, I can work around poetry (using poetry-core), but then cleo can't be imported:

I don't mind building pytzdata for EPEL 10. But I wish the leg work for dependencies would be done before requesting a build.

Whether that is currentrelease, nextrelease or errata - the package is in epel10 now.
