The problem is likely specifically with .5 -> .6 of the Mesa drivers.
However, due to .5 no longer being available Mesa downgrade as follows works to resolve the issue:

This is effectively a Mesa problem, not an SDDM problem, so reassigning. Upstream bug report: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/11772 Not a real bug, caused by conflicts in libraries introduced by amdgpu EL9 stack. Removing amdgpu's `libwayland\*` fixed the issue. Related by the same cause to: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2312499 |
