Previously, due to an implementation defect, librbd crashed when handling discard I/O requests that straddle multiple RADOS objects on an image with the journaling feature enabled. This could be worked around by setting the rbd_skip_partial_discard option to false (the default is true).
With this fix, the implementation defect is now fixed and librbd no longer crashes when handling discard I/O requests that straddle multiple RADOS objects on an image with the journaling feature enabled. The workaround is no longer necessary.
