Description Troy Dawson 2024-08-30 22:07:03 UTC
Please branch and build flite in epel10

If you do not wish to maintain flite in epel10,
or do not think you will be able to do this in a timely manner,
I would be happy to be a co-maintainer of the package (FAS tdawson);
please add me through https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/flite/adduser

Reproducible: Always

Upstream appears to be dead. Main URL is gone and the last commit in their GitHub repo was 2 years ago.

Thank you for that information.
It is needed for qt5-qtspeach to build. I'll talk with them about what they want to do.

Comment 3 Troy Dawson 2024-09-09 19:17:57 UTC
qt5-qtspeech has taken flite out for epel10. They already had done that for qt6-qtspeech.
It looks like the few other packages that depend on it can also easily take flite out of their package.

So we don't have an EPEL10 package that is dead upstream, I'll close this with wontfix.
